Short corners and chances appeared but unconverted. Lewes lost Ollie Ingham to a hand injury early in the first half but Dylan, Toby Hutchinson, Jamie and Charlie cooke respond well. Lewes were punished for not clearing a short corner and EG turned around at half time 1-0 up. Lewes respond well and several good chances went begging as having done the hard work poor final passes let the away side down. The midfield of Olli Loader, Louis Sudan, Abraham Horler worked tirelessly, whilst the attack of Hugh, Jago, Henry, Toby Izzard and Ben battled well throughout.vvEG scored from a breakaway against the run of play and despite further efforts to score Lewes conceded a third in the dying moments. A home game with St Francis at the the Southdown next Saturday.
