After some disappointing results of late, Lewes ladies 4s turned on the style with their performance of the year, going two goals up against visiting Chichester. The first goal, soon after the opening whistle, came from a mazy run and cross down the right wing from Harley for Iris ‘Goal Machine’ Jackson to score. Lewes’ second came this time courtesy of a one handed assist from Richards and a crisp finish into the bottom corner again from Jackson. Chichester replied just before half time seeing the hosts enter the break 2-1 up but sadly the visitors continued their attacking prowess into the second half scoring two further unanswered goals and running out 3-2 winners.
