FIXTURE: SLL Div 2
HOME TEAM: Lewes Ladies 4s 1 (Richards)
AWAY TEAM: Chichester Ladies 3s 4
Lewes Ladies 4s lost 4-1 to Chichester 3s after a first half performance which promised so much more for the East Sussex side.
Lewes went in to the half time break at 0-0. And despite the eventual score (and the elements) it still felt like a good game for the 4s when the final whistle blew.
Chichester went 2-0 up in the second half before Lewes captain Zoe Richards scored a sneaky goal halfway through the second period to bring the score back to 2-1.
Lewes player Rhiannon Burgess played an excellent game back in her normal defensive position and Alison Bruce went from Team Manager and five minutes on the pitch last week to playing an awesome centre back for an entire game this week.
A good game for Lewes despite the scoreline.
