Lewes Ladies 3s gain an unexpected point

They actually got both against a very similar EG team, composed of experience and youth. With the core of the 3' s players unavailable, the youngsters were asked to step up to the mark and they didn't disappoint. East Grinstead took an early lead against the run of play but Lewes equalised just before half time with a very well worked goal, finished off by Emma Fuller. East Grinstead came back strong in the second half and converted a short corner but some excellent pressure from the Lewes forwards, including some excellent dribbling skills by Jess Wycherley, led to a Lewes short corner, that was converted by Sara Riley. The ladies 3's is a team in transition this year and this is their 1st point on the board and a great start to the season.
