FIXTURE: Friendly
HOME TEAM: Southwick Ladies 1's 1
AWAY TEAM: Lewes Ladies 3s 0
A friendly with Southwick marked the start of the second half of the season for the Ladies 3s.
Evenly matched, the best chances in front of goal fell to Lewes, who failed to capitalise. Seren Sharpe made some great saves throughout the game at the heart of a solid defence, and a moment of misfortune saw Southwick unexpectedly take the lead.
Overall a solid performance, particularly from Francesca Arlott, Darcy Gallagher and Kitty Simmons. The game was a good way for the team to reacquaint themselves with ball and stick after the Christmas break, and confidence is high ahead of next week’s league game against Chichester
