An in form Lewes Ladies 3s team travelled to Chichester with high expectations of securing an easy 3 points against a team who have struggled so far this season.

Although the dominant side, it needed good saves from Hope Abercrombie in the Lewes goal, to withstand several effective breaks.

In the second half Chichester tired, and as the game opened up, Lewes were able to convert one of their many shots on target, with Ali Rowsell scoring from close range.

Emma Franks and Francesca Arlott were the outstanding players of the game, and although not able to add to their tally, Lewes fully deserved the points.
