They dominated from the start with youngster Adam Longley opening the scoring from close range and then Pete Thomas, converting from a penalty corner. Just on half time Paul Spruce made it 3-0.
The second half followed a similar pattern and Mike Fuller scored with a shot from the top of the circle and James Coplestone fired home with a thunderous shot to make it 5-0. Worthing grabbed a consolation with a skilful defection from an oblique angle but Lewes responded with Longley grabbing his second and finally Thomas, not to be outdone, got his second and Lewes's seventh with a hard penalty corner strike.
