The Sussex uni boys then eventually woke up and scored the first goal on about 10 minutes with the help of Rob Heinzl to tap the ball over the line. Some end to end hockey soon followed with Lewes creating the better chances with Frazer Anderson scoring the 2nd goal before half time with a well placed shot into the bottom corner.
Brighton got one back after half time as the end to end hockey continued. Lewes then had a period of good hockey which led to their third goal being scored by Sam Clarke Warry. Lewes defended well until the final seconds when a short corner was given on the final whistle from which Brighton scored a consolation goal.
