On a nice and sunny morning Lewes Men's 3s travelled away to Crawley hoping to find form from earlier in the season.
Lewes started off slow allowing Crawley to take the lead early in the game. Lewes quickly turned it around with an impressive goal from Jago Hussain. Lewes now with the momentum moved the ball quickly up the pitch and found Tom Casselden at the top of the D who smashed the ball into the back of the net. With minutes to go in the half Lewes win themselves a short corner, which Champness thumps into the bottom corner and Lewes go into half-time 3-1 up.
When the second half got under way it was clear to see that the fact that Lewes only had one sub was affecting their work rate which Crawley capitalised on this and equalised the game to 3-3. Lewes had to dig deep into their reserves and George Martin managed to squeeze in a late winner to give Lewes the win over Crawley.
