Lewes Men's 3's lose 4-0 to Eastbourne Men's 3's
Despite defeat, plenty of positives ahead of next week's home game

Lewes Mens 3’s travelled to Eastbourne for an early push back and, for a change, made a great start to the game playing positive, aggressive & committed hockey. After some 20 minutes of good play by both teams Eastbourne took the lead with an expertly converted penalty corner. With the Lewes cages rattled we became static, less running off the ball, trying to force it to the front three instead of rebuilding through the mid field or round the back.
Once again the second half started positively with good possession but as the game went on we started to give the ball away. Lewes remained committed to the game and despite the final score line of 4-0 we kept playing to the final whistle. The Mens 3’s can take plenty of positives from this game and will look to bounce back at home next week!
