Crawley sat on most of the possession in the first half, yet their relentless attacks only saw them go 1-0 up in the first 35 minutes. The second half however was a different story. Lewes bombarded Crawley with attacks until Will Wycherley drew the 2 sides level with a shot from a penalty corner to the bottom left of the goal. Lewes continued to dominate, with some excellent work again from Wycherley, but struggled to find that winning strike. It was Crawley however, who saw a gap in the Lewes midfield, and seized their chance (which were few and far between in the second half) to bring Crawley up in the dying minutes.
