Lewes Men's 5s share the points

Lewes went behind after fifteen minutes to a penalty corner but then equalised from their own penalty corner just on half time. Skipper Steve Fuller’s shot deflected into goal by Paul Spruce. There were good performances by Billy Smart in the midfield, youngsters Max Griggs and Joe Rideout and veteran Mike Fuller who was back to his best on the left wing. There were chances for both sides in the second half but both goalkeepers were outstanding and Lewes’ Charlie Palmer made an outstanding save late on from a penalty corner shot to earn Lewes a share of the spoils.
