A combination of experienced veterans and skillful youngsters proved to be too much for the Chichester side.
Lewes found themselves comfortably 4-0 up at half time but, despite continued pressure in the second half, could only add two more goals to the tally. It was a welcome return to Lewes for Ed Thomas who scored a brace as did Paul Spruce and, encouragingly, youngsters Max Griggs and Zak Knill also scored. Billy Smart in midfield and Sean Rowlands in defence both had good games.
