U10 Girls runners up in Sussex In2Hockey county championships

Under 10 Cup girls came runners up in the Sussex In2Hockey county championships. This means they will represent Lewes at the regionals sometime in April 2022 along with the Under 12 Girls and Boys.

The girls were amazing today in both cup and vase tournaments. We were runners up in the cup to EG. The vase players did really well with help from some of the cup players who stayed behind. The vase team were joint with EG on all counts: points, goals scored, wins and draws. Down to penalty schuffles after 3 all square sadly we lost by 1 goal after 6 penalties So we played for the 3rd/4th place playoffs. Which was a draw and so we again lost out in 2 minutes extra time. That's life but the girls never gave up.... very proud of both teams.
