A full day of hockey at the Ron Easton Tournament at Eastbourne College today. We were fortunate enough to send two U10 Girls' teams in full club kit (thank you :-)
The Lynxes performed well with regular and a few new players on the team. They managed to win one of five matches, many against East Grinstead sides (and an almost win against Crowborough). The girls demonstrated some fantastic positive team spirit and worked hard as a team. Well done to all of you!
The Lewes Leopards were back with a roar and demonstrated some excellent set pieces with dribbling up the sides and making full use of the large 'D'. They only lost one match, and went on to be crowned runners-up of the U10 girls tournament. Lewes Leopard's Player of the tournament has been named as Hannah Brand who selflessly stepped up to goalie - she only conceded one goal! Well done to all the players, you make a great team.
A big thank you to all the players, parents, carers and supporters/volunteers without whom tournaments like these are simply not possible. And a special thank you to Kate who managed the Leopards today. See you all at training next week!
