Good start to season for U10G

Great start to the season for the U10 Girls. They all played exceptionally well in their positions and gelled well as a team. First match saw us defeat Burgess Hill with 2 goals to 1; some good forward attacking and excellent defence at the back.

Game 2 - The girls came alive against Brighton scoring 3 goals to their 0 with some impressive dribbling and passing up front. Game 3 was more of the same, with Lewes scoring 3 goals to Eastbourne’s 0, giving our U10 Girls a final score of 9 and ultimately winners of their tournament.
All in all a great morning of hockey, and we can certainly build on today’s wins by focussing on fitness, and attacking up the sides, passing the ball wide and being strong in defence.
