Hugh 'Goal Machine' Porter scored twice in the second half to snatch a well deserved draw from South Saxons. Lewes started the match slowly after a delayed start due to late arrival of the opposition. Finding themselves 2 goals down at half time due to a lack of committment in winning the 50/50 balls. Lewes failed to control the ball during the first 15 minutes gifting south saxons too much procession. The introduction of Cameron Baker - making his first Lions appearance of the season - stablilised the midfield. Accuracy and speed of the passing increased significantly and holes in the Saxons' defence started to appear. A well struck clearance from Jamie Cooke, was well picked up by Charlie Kingsbury who beat his marker before release his pass to Hugh who found the bottom left corner.
