Ladies 2s Lose 0-2 against East Grinstead Ladies 3s

A well-drilled East Grinstead forward line quickly broke down the determined Lewes defence to go one nil early in the first half.

Despite a determined effort from the Lewes midfield and forwards, they were unable to penetrate the East Grinstead defence which remained steadfast.

Even a stunning performance from Man of the match Innei Shum, could not prevent another goal from EG and this saw the Lewes Ladies going into the second half, 2-0 down.

After a tough half time talk, the Lewes side came out more energised and put up a tremendous fight, putting together some excellent moves. However, they were still unable to put the ball in the back of the net and came away disappointed and as grey as the cold East Grinstead sky.
