Lewes Ladies 2s Lose 0-2 against Hailsham Ladies 1's

This was a hard fought contest for the ladies 2s, who put on one of their better performances so far this season and, at times, played fabulous flowing hockey, which made 2nd in the league, Hailsham, really have to work for this win.

Some great interplay between the half line and forwards meant that Lewes had much of the play but, frustratingly, the Hailsham defence stood firm and protected their goal at all costs.

A special shout out goes to Man of the Match, Emma Fuller, playing her last game for the 2s before she goes off to colder climes and to Pheobe Rivet who kindly ran the subs bench before her last game for the 1s.
