Lewes Ladies 2s Win 3-2 against Brighton and Hove Women's 3s

After drawing with the Brighton and Hove Ladies 2s earlier in the season, it was now time to take on their 3s.

We started strong and spent a lot of time in their half of the field. This led to 2 goals for us in the first half. We could have got more, but did not manage to convert penalty corners without our usual striker. Furthermore, the penalty stroke taken by Dori Grijseels was stopped by their goalkeeper.

Brighton managed to come back to 2-2 in the second half, and the last quarter of the game was very close.

An amazing goal by Emma Fuller broke the tie. We managed to defend the 3-2 to the end of the game.

Major props to our opponents, who were plagued by injuries during the game, but kept fighting until the end.
