Lewes took the lead when Richard Pulley scored from the top of the circle but Worthing equalised from close range before half time.
In the second half Lewes' goal led a charmed life as Goalkeeper Chris Sharpe made some good saves and Worthing failed to convert their chances. Finally they took one to go 2-1 up following a mix up in the host’s defence. Lewes became frustrated before coming alive in the final fifteen minutes as Pulley grabbed his second before Bill Short from a penalty corner and Paul Spruce from close range scored to complete the win.
