Men's 2s win at Horsham

A solid first half performance brought the team to 2-0 with a goal scored by Drew Wain in the opening minutes of the game. Mike Wood and Max Wooten holding up the rear of the team and creating opportunities for goal scoring up front. A special mention goes to Alex Pewter with 2 memorable deflections into the back of the goal in each half, assisted by Sam Rea and Seb Daniels.

During the second half the team persisted through tiredness and after being 3-0 up, an own goal was scored by Mike Wood (his hair probably distorting his vision) and the boys in green held up a 3-1 lead until the final whistle. Overall a good win for the 2s and a sign of good things to come. (Ps. We'll miss you Max).
