The match started with an offensive push from Lewes. Despite several early attempts being thwarted by the Rogues' impressive goalkeeper, Lewes found their breakthrough in the 16th minute. Bea, with a calm finish, converted Minnie’s well-timed assist into a well-deserved opening goal. The first half saw Lewes maintaining a solid defense, with Isobel’s exceptional reactions and game-reading abilities ensuring the team held their 1-0 lead going into halftime.

In the second half, the 5s elevated their game even further. Orla, Brooke, and Ella led the charge with precision passing, effective pressing, and crucial defensive blocks to counter the Rogues’ attempts. The 47th minute marked another milestone as Anna finished brilliantly to double Lewes's lead.

The 5s continued their dominance, with Coco coming close to adding to the scoreline, only to be denied by The Rogues' keeper. The highlight of the game arrived in the 63rd minute when Minnie unleashed a sensational tomahawk shot into the bottom corner, extending Lewes's advantage to three. Just two minutes later, Bea, not content with just scoring and dominating the line, turned provider with a perfect setup for Julia, who slotted home the fourth and final goal of the match.

With the full-time whistle, Lewes 5s emerged victorious with a commanding 4-0 win. It was a match defined by teamwork, skill, and determination—a thoroughly well-deserved result for the 5s.
