Lewes herded by the Farmers

Final game of the year at the club was a friendly between a mixed Lewes team and the Farmers.

Players from Mens 3s, 5s, 6s, Womens 3s, 4s and Legends were joined by 2 players making their full pitch adult debuts, Lioness Elena and Back to hockey Heather. The Lewes squad included 8 players who have come through the club's Back to hockey sessions.

Although the Farmers did dominate the game Lewes did play some nice hockey of their own and forwards Zoe and Tania kept the Farmers keeper busy, 2 late goals from Callum H and several good saves from the Lewes player of the game Ian Casselden kept the score somewhat respectable but no matter the score both teams enjoyed some good natured hockey and look forward to the return fixture at Steyning in mid February.
