The first outing for the U14 Nalas this season at Reigate away

Reigate 2 -4 Lewes

The girls settled quickly after an early attack by Reigate and some excellent and brave defending of a short corner by Bea.

Some fabulous play by Jasmine in attack culminated in our first goal at 8 minutes by Alicia.

In the last minute of the quarter, some wonderful play by Bea pushing forward into a lovely attaching drive and great passing from Soraya and Savannah on the right.

We started the second quarter with some very strong defence from Heidi and Emily, working the ball up the left-hand side. Some beautiful passing from Alicia and Jasmine culminating in a shot from Bea. The counter was strong with some wonderful defence again by Heidi with Miya covering her goal well to deny Reigate a goal.

Another breakaway run by Bea and lovely work from Savannah on the right led to a short corner. Super feed by Heidi directly to Bea who hit the back of the net with a lovely strike at 25 mins.

Reigate were then on the attack from 2-0 down and despite some great defending and wonderful commitment from Savannah diving for the tackle, Reigate scored in the 29th minute.

A great attack up the left from Milly, Jasmine and Alicia ended the first half
2-1
A very strong attacking start to the 3rd quarter with some lovely mid-field play from Soraya. A wonderful solo run by Bea from the halfway line into the D and a perfect slip to Alicia scoring her 2nd goal at 39 minutes.

Reigate started the 4th quarter strongly with some excellent attacking play resulting in their 2nd goal. Reigate looked very dangerous on the counterattack with both our defenders and the mid-fielders being tested keeping the ball away from the Reigate forwards.
