U10 Girls show grit at Eastbourne

We managed to pull together 12 players for two teams today to face Eastbourne and East Grinstead in the Development League matches (not exactly full squads). Half term meant half the players but that did not stop our U10 girls from working together on and off the pitch in some glorious sunshine at Eastbourne.
Thanks to the tremendous sportmanship from both Eastbourne and East Grinstead who gave us players to help out.
Despite having no goalie for some matches (Lynxes) and a brand new goalie for others (Jaguars), and some nasty injuries - fingers and grazed knees, the girls played well with some great passes and running play demonstrated,

Lewes Lynxes 0 - 2 East Grinstead
Lewes Lynxes 2 - 4 Eastbourne
Lewes Jaguars 1 - 1 Eastbourne
Lewes Jaguars 0 - 5 East Grinstead
