Lewes enjoys their social friendly with the Farmers.

A mixed MNH team headed to Steyning to take on the farmers (featuring Lewes own Tom Harvey) for another social friendly.

An early short corner for the Farmers saw them take the lead after the first shot was blocked on the line but the forward followed it in to push the ball over the line.
Late arriving Mark Pearson was subbed on after 15mins in the unusual position of left wing, with his first touches of the ball he found Sophia inside the top of the D who shot into the bottom corner, both teams created chances before half time but both teams defences held firm so half time was reached with the score tied.

During the second half the Lewes team were enjoying the majority of the possession with Sophia and Mark H making attacking runs down the wings with Flam and Alex always available in the middle but the Farmers defence held firm while launching dangerous counters which the defence of Maxx, Ian, Clive, Kevin and Mark P were able to deal with. With just over 10mins to go Lewes took the lead when Rory Hall swept home at the back post, the Farmers almost equalised shortly afterwards but Clive managed to clear a powerful shot off the line. Lewes extended the lead when Ben found space in the D before slotting home to continue his good scoring form from the Mens 5s this season. A late trademark Tom Harvey shot hit the crossbar well at least a crossbar otherwise a nervy final minutes for Lewes would of ensued.
