Having won the league last year with an experienced group of players, Lewes are in transition as last years’ winning team have moved up the club

Eastbourne Chicks 6
The girls are young but keen and enthusiastic. With at least 6 players making their debut, Lewes started brightly, taking the lead with an excellent goal from Tess Youngman up front. However playing against a very experienced and strong Eastbourne team, Lewes were overrun in midfield and up front, with the defence exposed on numerous occasions. It will be a steep learning curve for the new lionesses this season but hopefully an enjoyable one.
