The U10 boys were unbeaten in their pool to reach the semi finals. They just clinched the win after being awarded a short corner moments before the final whistle. A super strike from Rio Troak ricocheted off a Mid Sussex stick and into the top of the goal. They then won the final match and the trophy. This finals win takes them to the Regional finals at Surbiton Hockey Club on Sunday 30th March.

U12 girls

The girls had a resounding run to the top of this round robin tournament, they completed 8 matches without losing one. With all the players taking a turn in the Goal Keeping position, they only conceded one goal in the entire tournament. Coach Sara ‘Manager’s Glasses’ Riley said of the team ‘This is virtually the same team of girls who qualified for the Regional finals as U10s 2 years ago. They are such a talented, hardworking group who shone so brightly today – well done girls!’ The girls play in the final on Sunday 27th April at Teddington Hockey Club.

The U10 girls and U12 boys also played well against some very tough opposition.
