Men's 2s beat Southwick
Lewes come back from 2 nil down to draw at Portslade
In a game which was fairly even throughout and in some difficult conditions, Lewes dominated the early part and were unlucky not to go ahead when Peter Thomas shot narrowly wide. Southwick were ever dangerous on the counter attack and took the lead when they broke quickly after a Lewes attack. In the second half it was fairly even again with Lewes creating a lot more chances than they did in the first, but they couldn't find a way through. Southwick's second goal came from another counter attack and this seemed to spark Lewes into life. With 15 minutes to go Seb Daniels rounded the Southwick keeper, after great work from Dan Blackwell, to make it 2-1. The comeback was complete when Blackwell fired into the bottom corner from a short corner.
