Lewes looks forward to a bumper finals weekend
The curtain comes down on the hockey season this weekend but what a packed few days it promises to be.
Men’s finals are to be hosted by Brighton and Hove Hockey Club at Blatchington Mill School.
Lewes have four teams in the finals including on Saturday the 3rd XI playing Chichester followed by the junior development final where Lewes play Eastbourne. On Sunday Lewes Veterans, the current holders, face an early start playing hosts Brighton and then the Under 21’s play Eastbourne. The main 1st XI final is between Brighton and Chichester at 2.45pm.
Saturday 26th
1.30pm 3rd XI Final Lewes V Chichester
3.00pm Development Final Lewes V Eastbourne
Sunday 27th
9.30am Veterans Final Lewes V Brighton
12.30pm Under 21 Final Lewes V Eastbourne
U12 girls Regional finals
Sussex Champions, Lewes u12 girls, travel to Teddington on Sunday 27th April to compete in the regional In2Hockey club finals - with the top 2 teams going through to the national finals at Cannock HC in May.
