The ladies section has been particularly successful in recent years, with the 1st XI regaining regional league status in 2009 and finishing runners-up of South 3B in 2010. They were also runners-up in the 2009 National Trophy final.
Our 2nd XI also have had great success, in the 09/10 season they lost out on promotion in to a regional league by 1 point. They also came runners-up in last year’s National Trophy 2nd XI final, narrowly missing out on sudden death flicks.
The ladies 3rd XI managed to achieve promotion 3 years in a row. Now leaving them sitting very comfortably in division 1 competing against many 1st XI.
Division three currently is hosting our ladies 4th XI which consists of a mixture of youth and experience. This team is filtering our juniors who have out grown the Lionesses and are now progressing up the club.
The Lionesses are the junior side at Lewes hockey club. They consist of an excited and energetic bunch of U16’s who are very keen to learn and improve the ever growing bag of skills! This team are assisted by a few experienced hockey players too.
We hope to have yet another successful season at Lewes, constantly trying to provide great coaching, great victories on the pitch and a great social in the club house after.
Looking forward to seeing new and old members around the club.

Lewes ladies Club Captain
