Lewes Under 18’s was started at the beginning of the 2009/10 season when we a very young side was entered into the Mercian Colts League the matches are played on Sundays.
The boys squad of 16 are coached by Chris Marchant and in the first season achieved a place at the National finals at Reading.
The new season has seen the side lose 4 senior players and welcomed 4 younger boys with the average age of the team being approximately 16.8. This season the team has also been entered into the England Knockout Cup with the first match played against Haslemere with a 7-4 win and the next round is against Canterbury.
The first Mercian League match was played on Sunday 7th November with a 4-3 victory to Lewes. See pictures below.
